LEED Green Associate (Not Discount Pack) Manhattan Kristen Bacorn 15hr

Get the prestigious Green Associate and Accredited Professional credentials now!

Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is the world's foremost green building standard, designed by U.S. Green Building Council. This course trains you to become a LEED professional.

To become LEED® accredited:

  • Take our 4-session (15 hour) Green Associate course. Start any time; classes may be taken in any order. All materials are included free.
  • Then you qualify to take the 3rd party exam and get a certificate issued by USGBC/GBCI. To take the exam, you must show your NYREI course completion certificate.

After becoming a Green Associate, you may go on to become a LEED® accredited professional. This requires work experience on a LEED® project. Our teacher, Kristen, has helped dozens of qualified students obtain LEED® internships.

NYREI's LEED course is also continuing ed for construction professions and real estate. LEED (15 hours) + Green Architecture CE (7.5 hours) + Green Fair Housing (3 hours) = 22.5 hours for Real Estate license renewal

NYREI's students boast a very high pass rate on the challenging accreditation test. Classes are small, with plenty of interaction, individual attention and a fun learning environment. The teacher, Kristen Bacorn, has worked on hundreds of environmental projects. Through her original slide show, you will take "virtual fieldtrips" to water treatment plants, brownfields, and the world's first LEED® residential high-rise.

The course is organized in four classes (15 hours) which can be taken in any order, so students can join any time. Classes are usually offered once a month, afternoons and evenings. You can finish the course in 2 days – or – if you are not free in the afternoon, for example, you can take only evening classes, which means you will attend two evenings one month and the other two evenings in the following month.
