This 3.75 hour course will review ethical business practices in a variety of situations
encountered by real estate professionals, and will also include an update of recent legal
matters pertaining to the practice of real estate by brokers and salespersons. The
course is designed to comply with the new real estate licensing continuing education
requirements.

Ethics in Dealing With The Public.  
Professional Standards Relating to Real Estate Professionals: Codes and legal standards 
relating to real estate practice. 
Review of fundamental legal considerations all real estate professionals should know. 
A Review of recent legal matters pertaining to the practice of real estate, including recent
statutes, laws, regulations, rules, codes, NY Department of State Opinions, as may be
application. 
Summary, Discussion & Questions: How do we as real estate professionals "do the right

Donald began his lucrative career in 1980 as a mortgagebroker, arranging real estate loans for residential and commercialclients.  Through the years, he hasworked extensively in the mortgage, property management, and real estate industriesin New York City.  In 2006, he became alicensed mortgage and real estate instructor, who has authored and obtained NYDepartment of State approval for over twenty different courses, with topicsincluding Real Estate Salesperson/Broker Licensing, Tax Liens, and Real EstateInvestment Strategies.  Most notably, heco-authored the NMLS-approved textbook for the New York State-Licensed MortgageLoan Originators on the topic of continuing education requirement, which waspublished by Hondros Learning in 2013.
