Real Estate Property and Risk Management (REPARM) Part I and Part II

The REPARM Part I and Part II classes consist each of 3.75 hours and can be
taken separately and or combined for 7.5 hours. The REPARM is a summary
outline of the elaborate Property Management (PM) program that provides
attendees to better understand the management role in real estate operations.
The REPARM classes is for office administrators, salespersons, and brokers to
assist the property management team.
Introduction to Professional Property Management
  • Understanding the evaluation of the property management profession.
  • Be able to explain the different classifications of real property and the various property management challenges involved with each.
  • Understand the principles of economics that affect the property manager’s decision-making process.
  • Explain the process of researching and establishing a management plan.

Managing Commercial, Industrial Residential Properties

  • Distinguish among the various types of real estate properties.
  • Understand the special challenges of managing condominiums and cooperatives.
  • Explain how fair analysis and how the manager assembles reports.
  • Understand the physical plants of the structure with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and security technology systems.
  • Understanding the contractual commitment involved with managing real
  • estate portfolios.
  • Discuss on water gravity tanks and fuel tanks in a structure.

Managing Risk Management, Emergency Planning and Tenant Safety Measures

  • Understand the importance of the strategy for dealing with emergency and life safety issues.
  • Identify the procedures involved in planning for emergencies.
  • Be aware of the importance of tenant security and safety.
  • Risk management with insurance policies to protect the investment of the property
